Hi,

Just wondered what show/wh saddles you had your cobs in? I may need a new one, slightly hoping I don't but planning/browsing just in case. I have an Albion K2 VSD at the moment which is perfect for what we do as it is straight enough for showing but also v comfortable for jumping, so would like something similar.

Thank you!

I have a Black Country "Show hunter" saddle but had it customised with the seat from the GPD (their version of the VSD), and doeskin seat and knees.
It's gorgeous, and gives me more security due to the slightly deeper seat of the GPD.
V highly recommend! The Jeffries Stamford is also lovely, but more expensive, and you can't choose the leather options or different seat/knees.

The saddler I am having now does specialise in them and the Ramsey looks gorgeous. Two of my friends have the GP version which they are happy with just not right for me and my boy so looks like that could be the way to go if mine cannot be adjusted and if Santa thinks I have been a good girl! Thank you all!!!

I have a traditional rather than show cob and use a Silhouette WH - these are very much like a Flyde (I spoke to Flyde last week and he told me these were copied off one of his designs).

It is very straight cut for a WH but had a bit of knee roll so is good for showing and dressage and fine for nothing to huge in the jumping stakes.
