I never get nervous when daisy and pony go to jumping comps.

This is our first 'pretty pretty' and I feel physically sick, and my heart is pounding.

Really silly I know, tips on how to calm down please
 
Its supposed to be FUN;) just go and enjoy it, you are all prepared, saw the thread last night, pony is shiney and just needs a quick polish up.

Daisy will enjoy her day whatever, at her age its all about taking part and getting a rosette not where they actually come, looking at your pony he should do well and behave so enjoy the day and lots of photos later.

A glass of wine with the picnic may help:D

I've just tucked my grey boy up for the night (in rugs only... no stable!) I'm heading to a local show tomorrow, they are great fun!

No I don't have a hat, yes, lead rein.

I asked one of the judges what I should wear, and she said that as it us beginners, just to see if we like it, then jeans and boots are perfectly ok, will wear a shirt and tweed jacket though.
 
Best of luck! Once you get there, you'll be fine :) thinking about it is far worse! Enjoy yourselves and remember, there will be lots of other people there who are also nervous, you won't be alone, just do your best and have fun!
