hello!
I was just wondering If someone could help me out. On sunday I am entering a few in hand classes at a local show and I was just asking for some opinions.
I have read that tweed is most appropriate for showing however I am only entering as a bit of experience and supporting a friend, and I only have a black show jacket and white jods.
Would It be more appropriate for me to wear my black jacket, white jods and stock as I would for my other classes or would it be better for me to wear my black jacket, white jods and navy tie? I understand this isn't the ideal wear for in hand showing however its only a local show and as I said I'm not serious about showing in the long term
Thank you so much!

If you are only doing in hand classes then you would be best forgetting the jods and jacket and wearing some plain trousers, a smart shirt and tie, white jods have no place in the show ring and will look even more out of place in the inhand classes.

I'm currently away and don't have any time to sort out some trousers before Sunday - is white really going to cause a problem? I really don't have another option and don't want to be spending on new things as I'm not at all into showing.
