Hi

I am in need of a 44 inch bust, ladies navy wool jacket. I have a lovely caldene tweed jacket in a 44 but I would like a smart jacket now that hunting and dressage have finally reached my giant baby horse.
I have looked online and sadly caldene only go up to a 42. I have around £200 ( or the other half does as it my xmas pressie)

Any help and ideas would be wonderful xxxx

Sorry, I can't help, but keeping an eye on this thread as I have the same problem. Any jacket that actually does up over my monsters is like a smock over my belly with shoulder seams half way down my arms!

Try Mrs Candy - she can do a slightly made to measure option on her standard show jackets which will not cost much more than the £200 you have. You can choose your fabric, buttons, whether you want a velvet collar etc. If you google Mrs Candy her details will come up. She is based in North Beds, but you can give her measurements over the phone and she can send samples in the post to you.

I have a equetech (sp) 44 inch jacket that I bought for stressage! Also Fuller Fillies I believe cater for us larger chested ladies :-)

Wonderful thank you sooo much- a freind has mentioned mrs candy before actually- i totally forgot!!! I will def try her as am north beds based. Also OH knows leiscestershire (sp) well so we can always take a trip up there. Also I know what people mean about fitting round the boobsw and not round the middle!!! I have according to the measurements size 20 boobs and a size 16 waist- hurrah fun!!!

Wonderful help my dears xx

ok - 32J here!

I ordered an Equetech jacket from Cavaletti clothing, it's fab and delivery was fast. I had to buy a 46 (I'm a size 16) and it was about £67. Then I accosted a local seamstress who took an inch off the sleeves, and pulled it in about 8 inches! at the waist and hips. Now fits fab, and she only charged me £20
