I am stocking up on everything here in the USA before coming home to live.

What is acceptable in the showjumping ring at ODE? I have seen a great jacket but it have a subtle checked look to it http://www.doversaddlery.com/the-elite-ladies-riding-jacket/p/X1-40751/cn/35/

is this ok?

would it be acceptable for a normal SJ class too?

Very smart for Sj ing. Not quite so sure for SJ at a ODE, and would think a bit OTT for local WH etc though.

Depends what you want to do?

Is a lovely jacket though - if you like it then buy it. My OH has a grey jacket for SJing which is still fairly unusual here, and he wears it at events as well.

I think it's nice but that a more traditional looking tweed would be better for eventing....but thats just my opinion!

I want an all round jacket, something I can hunt, event and do local SJ in.

Dressage is so easy to sort out, it is just the jumping I am struggling with. Over here everyone dresses up like they were Pros ALL the time.... One of the reasons I am moving home.
