Show Jackets

Hi there,

This is probably going to sound really silly but I want to buy a new or possibly near new green tweed jacket but am really confused about sizing.

I am a petite size 10 and currently have a harry hall showing jacket in a size 36 that fits beautifully but I can't remember whether it was a maids size or a ladies size.

Can anyone help?! I am only 5'4" so don't want to end up looking swamped by a jacket thats too long for me.

don't know if this helps but I'm 5ft 5 and a size 12(ish!) and take a ladies 38 jacket.

I think it depends on the brand of jacket you go for. I am 5'4 and a size 12 and my mears tweed jacket fits me perfectly at a size 36. I have been looking for a new one and have found that a 38 in other makes fits.

I know it is a pain but for the price of a quality tweed, you really should shop around and try on.
