I am breeding again my sweet mare Cassia this year. I am looking to produce a showjumper. She had a beautiful filly by Casall last year with better paces than her.

She has been my competition mare, making me rise from 80cm to 120 in only one year. She has a big heart and rarely ever touched a pole. Great mind, very smart horse who always tried her best. She is very quiet, rarely spooking or going crazy in the fields. She is a big girl standing at 17hh.
When in Germany she competed in 130 cm jumpers, she has a good bascule and forehand technique but so she does lack power/scope. Her hindquarter technique is efficient but not flashy. She is quite fast but tends to go on the forehand. She has a difficult mouth.

here is her pedigree

A video. Please no mean comments on my riding.. I officially gave up anyway!!

Here is a recent pic, aged 11, after a baby and 1 year of retirement. I think her main issues are the hind quarters and a long back.. what do you guys think?

This year I am considering breeding her to Contendro as her movements need some refinement. Opinions? Open to suggestions!

I suppose it depends on your budget.

If she was mine I'd have a look at Zambesi. Id love to breed one off him. A friend of mine has used him on a few mares and he certainly seems to stamp his stock.
