Bodey’s jumping is going great and I have a fantastic Instructor, but I always find Bodey jumps better away from home (just perks up). So I was wondering if any of you wonderful people could suggest a good SJ-ing Clinic (would like a group lesson), preferably in Kent but if not the South East?

Thanks in advance,
Jo

Is he the guy from Cobham Manor? I’ll look into that, thanks!

think so - he's meant to be a abit pushy but in a good way . My friend has a good jumper who is a bit fizzy so she backs off him and sticks to 2'6'' ish when horse is really capable of 3'6'' and he got a jumping in a really consistent mannar so she got more confident and the horse seemed to know what was expected of him so knuckled down as well - if this makes any sense

Oh thanks, that sound perfect. I’ll have a look on the website. I like to be pushed but obviously riding a cob so can’t be jumping 4ft just yet, he, he. Up to 2ft9 is fine at the moment.

John Smart does a showjumping clinic at Duckhurst (indoors) on the 3rd Monday of each month. Also, a lot of the local riding clubs organise them eg Ardingly or Sevenoaks but prob not til spring/summer next year. Would also take a look at Eaglesfields website too as they always have a lot going on. Hope that helps

Very short notice but BSJA are organising a Stephen Hadley clinic at Golden Cross on Monday and Tuesday this week - details on the News Page of the Golden Cross website. 80 pounds for the 2 days and we are going with the cob and are doing the pre-British Novice group. There may be some spaces.......and we might be able to offer overnight stabling and box parking about 10 mins drive from GX.

He's doing some early next year too. If I am feeling brave I'll post some clinic pics in PG so you can see for next time......
