So we have a small arena at my yard (not sure on exact measurements but it’s not big enough for a whole show jumping course) and we only have four blocks and 4 wings.

I want to make a course for this girl I’m helping, but not entirely sure how to with what I’ve got. I’m not a course builder by any stretch of the imagination! Any ideas/diagrams etc will be much appreciated. Oh and before anyone asks, I have googled but my search terms aren’t pulling much up

Your limit is really the number of poles. The more versions you can make with one wing or block serving two jumps the more jumps you can get in. You'll form a very swirly course and try not to make the turns too tight or the jumps too high.

For example you can use 4 blocks / wings to form a square giving you two doubles. Then from each corner set another fence so it looks a bit like an elongated hash tag or star shape.

Or reverse it - one block / wing (you need omni directional ones) in the center of 4 fences arranged as a classic star then another fence using the block / wing from the end of each arm (that one takes up a little more space)
