Have you ever lost a broodmare when in foal/during foaling?

I have a lovely old black show jacket, with velvet collar, which is very faded to say the least, so am going to renew the velvet, but was wondering whether to put some gold piping iaround it as well.
Was wondering what ppl thought about it?

If anyone would be as nice as to take a close up picture of piping on jacket colour for me i would be very gratefull - doesn't matter what colour, it's just so that i get the generally idea

thank you, can't afford a blue show jacket at moment, but am saving, as the horse wears a blue saddlecloth with gold edging, so would like to try and match

i said yes, but only for sj...dont have it done if you intend to wear it for bd/be. and i agree with cotswoldsj - silver would look better than gold with black... black and gold may look a bit chavvy?

Yes but personally I prefer silver, I have white/cream on my black jacket which I wear for PC, BE and hopefully BSJA soon too. But then there really is no hope for me where following the trend is concerned
