Hi - need some advice please. We have a lovely competition mare who has massive scope over jumps and is a machine xc but for some reason "loses it" when sj on grass (no issue in an indoor or outdoor arena). She always has appropriate studs for the conditions so does not slip but she just becomes uncontrollable / rushes at fences (never stops) / speeds up / flattens out on grass. We have tried several bits and is currently with a Cheltenham gag but it makes no difference. She is used to big occasions / crowds / music, etc and is not ring shy. We regularly train away from home (but limited where we can train on grass). Any suggestions / similar experiences and how to improve?
