Today was the first evening competition of the summer and I was really excited to get going! When we got there we had to wait for aged for the first class to finish, then there was about 15 before me in the 2'3 class, so I walks the course, tacked up and warmed up. Coblet was super relaxed and took it all in his stride, no napping or anything
Did a quick clear round then we went into our class, jumped 1&2 fine, got to number 3 and he decided he didn't like the photographer and the filler and ran out, I growled at him, he got in a right kerfuffle and decided to buck/bronc/hop about for a bit
I growled at him again and he gave the 'oops sorry mum' look and carried on clear for the rest of the course
we didn't get placed though because he ran out and wasted time being a thug

Did a but more waiting around and then came class 3, 2'9. They looked hhuuugggeeee! They put even more fillers in in this class but I got hold of him this time, steadied him up and got him over every jump
sadly he got one down but I don't mind, he was so good for not running out or napping, he's turning into a cracking little pony!!
Somehow, we got back at 10pm??!! He was very good though and time up on the trailer munching ALL his hay, so had none for the way home! He's also started loading straight in and not standing around being tempted by loads of treats at the moment too!
Sorry for the link to the pic, I'm on my iPod and photobucket decided they don't want to support my version anymore

I love this photo, he looks so happy, and it's the one he ran out at in the first class with photographer behind it!
Much love and carrots for the mini-coblet
