I'm taking my new forest gelding unaffliated show jumping next week but i've never been before (only do dressage on my other horse and this is the pony's first season after 3 years off)

it's run under bsja rules, what do i need to wear? do i need to wear a body protector, gloves, stock or tie?

And what about the pony. what type of numnah, browband, plait? etc.

hoping it's not as picky as dressage

thanks :D

White or cream Jods, black or brown boots, dark coloured jacket, white shirt with stock or tie, gloves optional, No need to plat unless you want to, numnahs anything goes really just generally look smart, if you hair is longer than you collar it should be in a hairnet but TBH not many still stick to that rule, i'm not sure if it still is a rule really, i've had short hair for the last ten years so never bothered updating myself on that one.
