Show Jumps

I have just bought some second hand wooden jumps fillers and poles. Very good condition but need repainting as faded and tired looking. Would ordinary gloss work to repaint as exterior gloss only comes in boring colours!!

Anyone had to do this?

Yes, use any gloss paint. Jumps tend to get scruffy anyway and need painting regularly to keep them bright and protect wood. Cheap way to do it is to ask friends/neighbours for any left over paint then get artistic with whatever turns up.

These are some I painted over 5 years ago using exterior gloss from wickes(other diy outlets ate available). Still look very good today. Just make sure the poles are properly prepared prior to painting.
Only 4 colours used but I think they look interesting enough.

Good Idea......Will ask around who knows what colours I will end up with.....
