can some lovely person please show me a pic of this fitting on their horse?

do they soften up and fit better with use?

i had to swap mediums for large for my horse - a 16hh ISH but he is pretty lw! However, the large i am really having to pull tight to get them to meet without a gap along the outside of the leg before i velcro.. although im sure any bigger and they would be too long. Im also not convinced im putting them on the right way round:o

These any good? 17hh ISH plenty of bone

they do soften up with use, tho my hind event boots aren't as soft as my front ones (no idea why!). The front ones fit like a brushing boot, so the top is undr the knee and the bottomis longer at the back/inside.
The hind ones almost fit back to front if you see what i mean, so the longer bit is down to the fetlock, like in Pidgeon's photos.
don't worry about a bit of a gap between the two bits as long as there's not sufficient movement that they'll rub.

Ron has about 10 inches of bone and wears the large and there's a little gap on the hinds, again, any bigger and they'd be too long.

thanks! very useful info here - i really appreciate it.

ive been putting the hinds on with the prolite label on the inside, so wrong, looking at your pics.

hind on my horse - this was the mediums, ive got large now which are a better length
