Show me/tell me about your neddy, no matter what type!

he's really lovely! I didn't know Duthie park had a clydie show! We have friends who live just down the road from the park - will have to get them to let me stay with them when it's on!

Yes they do it every year in August. They have a website and a FB group if you want to check on the dates! And thanks :) That was our second time at the Duthie Park show so we would see you next year if you came :)

some lovely horses on here!
this is prince, hes a 15.3 ex racer, possibly one of the most gentle, polite horses iv ever known and had the pleasure of owning, i have owned him for 4 years and just used to exercise him before that. we have done abit of everything, mainly doing best at dressage recently moving up to novice BD early this year untill he went lame and has recently been diagnosed with kissing spines, bone spavins and navicular, so looks like our competition career ends now, but il just be happy if he comes sound.
hes a diva ;-)

this is grace, iv had her coming up 3 months. she is a 7 year old, ISHXtb apparantly, her parentage is unverified. shes 15.1, was meant to be a buy and sell but as she is turning out to be nice enough to dressage and show county level and has a nice jump to her, she is perfect for me :D she will be princes competition replacement, i only paid £500 for her as shes been off since october and has done nothing her whole life but hack down the road.

Captain, a KWPN Gelderlander, 17-2hh, 15yo. He was a carriage horse and now is a dressage horse to be. (he trains but I am saving for a lorry to take him out) He is quirky and at times difficult but I would not change him for the world. World's biggest woss, hates rain, wind and any temps under 16 deg. He is a marmite horse, people either love his quirkiness or hate it.

Cappy expressing what those who don't like him can do.

Fany, a Ardennes (Trait Ardennais) 14 yo 14-2hh. She is a hack and loves going out exploring and nosing at the foals and other horses. Totally bombproof ( well as bombproof as any horse can be) She is the kindest, sweetest mare. Loves people, other horses and the yard dogs. She is an exceptionally good doer and spend her life on a diet, bit like me! Only thing we have found she doesn't like is an empty bucket! Great favourite on the yard.

Everyone has such lovely horses, now to add my two monsters:

Spanner is a 5y/o (if you go by passport, but aged at 4 by dentist and vet) 15.2hh ISH by Graheeb.
I've had her for about a year, she'd been ridden a handful of times when I bought her. She absolutely loves jumping, hates flatwork! She's a project really, as I'd like something bigger.

Ballet is a 15y/o TBxCob Mare, I've had her for nearly 4 years now. She loves jumping and hunting, her dressage has gone from being around 48 to around 28 since I've had her. We started BE this year, managed 1 Novice and then she has been out of action since April (and BE don't do membership refunds!) :( She lives for XC. Will never go anywhere. :)

so sorry for overload!

This topic is all about overloading us with pics and info, don't be sorry. :D

Thanks to everyone for sharing, it's really so lovely to see everyone's photos and hear about the different horses we have. I've often tried to think about it but the fact is that there really isn't a type of horse or pony that I dislike or one that I prefer!
