Years ago when I worked on cattle stations in Australia. This is me about to warm up my favourite horse, Jessie, before the manager competed her.

It was my first time going to, and camping at, a rodeo/country show with the station.

I have lots, but here is a recent one. Me and Diva getting the Reserve Champion for the Intro dressage at Foxes. She couldn’t go any further because of her breathing and inability to sustain canter, but this was so special.

First photo is a sweet moment with my current mare from a few years ago and second photo is my mare and my gelding out on a hack overlooking Coniston fells and lake which was a fabulous day as my friend was riding too.

Loving all these replies I really don’t know what I’d do without my horses - especially at the moment with all this craziness! I always fine my face is aching after being at the yard because I’ve been smiling so much ?

My happiest horsey pic would probably be this one. It's on a RS school horse but it was a long time ago so I hope it's okay to post. I know in the grand scheme of things that's a baby jump but it's the biggest I've ever jumped and had just fallen off on the previous attempt. I love it because I think it's these little moments that made it worth it to keep trying even though I'm wasn't a confident rider. I also really bloody loved this horse, and so did my late father who said he was 'a proper horse, not a carthorse!' and was there for every single lesson (poor dad!).

I was terrified of jumping until - at the age of 54 - I saw a confidence therapist and had some brain retraining. Much to my shock and wonderment it bloomin'-well worked and my young mare and I learned to jump together. Last year we managed 80cm which ordinarily is WAY out of my comfort zone. I'm very fortunate because she loves jumping so I just point her and cling on!! lol

The day Sugar came, my dream of owning my own horse finally realized (after 40 odd years of dreaming!). I couldn’t have asked for a better first horse either, I’ve had her just over a year now and she is just the best little horse ?

Pony Club camp where my daughter won a prize. We have a lovely posed photo from when she was on the front cover of magazine, but this and her one of her sister when she was at a Christmas show are my favorite. It was the ponies first time off lead rein,

Slightly different from most of the photos already shown as I'm not in it, but this is the day I moved my boy closer to home. After 5 years of having to wait for someone to drive me up to see him he's now a 15 minute walk away.

Six year old daughter with her first pony on loan. He was just the best, had taught loads of kids the ropes, was kind and would jump anything as long as she kicked. Always expected a polo at the end of a session and one one occasion took her to a table where they were selling refreshments (including polos). He gave her so much confidence.

Great idea for a thread! I have many favourites, but this is definitely up there - we were lunging and both got absolutely soaked!!

There are many reasons why this pony made me happy! This day in particular was in April 2017. His first ever show as an adult. He did the mixed M&M small breeds under a hugely well respected judge in a class of 15 ponies. Not only did he win he went M&M Champion too. After handing out the championship rosettes I apologised to the for the fact that I had to leave the show and not come forward for any more championships - I had a party to get to! Arthur had won the National the day before and I think the majority of people at the show had bet on him! So we dashed home, flung him in the field and I went to work to enjoy the carnage that was over 2000 people descending on the yard all to see Arthur! I will try to find a pic of that too.

A once in a lifetime thing to be involved with! We won the National!!!

It's a shame we couldn't try to reclaim the crown in 2020.

Is that Janice at Hulberts Green in Brinkworth? I'm sure I recognise it! I rode there for a while when I was about 16-17 I think (so about erm 2004ish?). My dad also used to take me to all my riding lessons until I learnt to drive!
