Show me your 4 year old cobs v them matured

I have a fabulous 4 year old cob (was 4 end of March) and she is really bum high. She has filled out a lot over the last year but her back end still looks to be on stilts.

How much did your cobs changed after 4 years of age and did they grow much more after they filled out?

I will be string testing her tomorrow as just looking at a picture I took today and she looks so bum high. I would love another inch or two out of her (which she would need to level off anyway) but could she grow more?

The first picture is her aged 2 years and 9 months and then today aged 4 years and 3 months.

My cob was 14.2 when I bought him, probably 4 (sold as a 5 year old). Avatar is him at his peak. He was a diamond in the rough when I got him, never had a rug on him, clueless about everything.

She looks like she will grow more height in front for sure.
I know cobs are typically croup high but she is very bum high.

Mine is a few months off turning 4. He's always been quite level growing up. He's grown maybe only half an inch in the last year. Still hoping he would hit 15hh someday.

I will keep you posted! I don't think I look too big on her? (13.1hh on the stick yesterday) and I am only 5ft 3in but would love her to be 13.3hh or even 14hh if I could have my own way!

You can actually improve her posture and she'll look a fair bit better, it's hard for croup high horses. I witter on about it all the time, have a look at the "went to a bet talk last night" thread that's currently running on here for pointers, and search posture across posts. If she develops the ability to push up more through her shoulders she'll have a less pitched forwards ribcage and may even come up in the wither. Plenty of very croup high cobs out there that are over 7 years old, and I'd say probably most have at least mild postural weaknesses.

Admittedly not a cob but I got mine at just turning seven and he still went up a rug size as he developed more muscle and filled out. I thought the saddler was joking when he said he reckoned he had a bit more growing to do! He went from a 6'3 to a 6'6 rug
 
My pony is 13.1hh and went to put my hi viz sheet that I bought for my old 15hh cob and it was far too short!

She’s a stocky thing, if just like her a little more level 😂
 
My first pony as an adult was a 13.2hh dales/fell pony, she was always a bit bum high all her life. I do have some pics but will have to find them
Your pony looks like she does have some growing to do, so just keep an eye on her saddle fit.
