Show me your cats!!

This thread is making me kitten broody :p Landlord won't let me have pets and I am disinclined to risk a cat lving in the middle of a city any way so I will have to wait :(

This is my ginger boy Taz at home with my mum Who we rescued when I was 16. He is very people food and sleep orientated and dislikes going outside without an escort (the kitten next door scares him) :D

He was rejected by his mother at 4 weeks and it went un-noticed by the negligent breeder! believe it or not this was him (top picture) at 10 weeks weighing 450g (should have been double that). He is pure bred snowshoe and because the breed is relatively new and the breeder was relatively deserving of a slap, he didnt have a very good start. I hand syringed every 2 hours for 3 weeks

He is a carrier for EVERYTHING now, constantly plagued with horrible eye infections, and has yet to do a solid poo (he is 2 now!) He cannot go out for fear of it killing him. I know some may think thats cruel but none of mine have ever gone out anyway so they know no different. He is fed on royal canin sensitivity control which costs me £32 a week to feed the 3 of them (he needs ad lib and I cant bare to shut him away) BUT... and there is a MASSIVE one... I love him with 90% of my heart (the remaining 10 is shared between husband, 2 other cats, pony and family and friends ;) ) I will care for him until the day he dies, I know he wont go on forever like regular cats but having hand reared him, he thinks i am mumma and he will never want for anything, I make him as comfortable as possible and he is (and acts) a spoilt little brat - and yes I am one of those weird cat women ;)

Reading that makes me want to give you a big hug - sometimes people can be so amazing :)

This post has just struck a heart-wrenching chord with me, especially the cross eyed kitten on page 1. Please all spare a thought for Thistle, my parents little cat who disappeared over a week ago whilst they were on holiday (their neighbours and I were looking after her). She was cross eyed from the day we picked her up as a farm kitten stray and stayed that way, no wonder she found the world so scary.

I have spent all week searching for her and putting up flyers, but at these temperatures I don't think a timid little 13 year old cross eyed cat stands much chance 8(

So upset, I just want to know what happened to her.

Oh I hope she turns up soon, it is just awful when they go missing, what a sweet puss thistle looks.

So many lovely cats who are well loved on here, loving this post, could happily have all of them, the world would be a very dull place without cats I reckon

This thread is fabulous - what gorgeous cats HHOers have!!! :)

Unfortunately we lost our cats last year :( I miss them both so much. Our boy passed away during the night and my poor girl passed away whilst I was at Uni so I never got to say goodbye to either of them.

This is River. He is oriental blue spotted tabby. He was the most annoying cat, ever!!! Poor chap was always a bit 'slow' and his 'meow' went straight through you and he was constantly talking all the time!! I reckon he also thought he was a human....

This is Coral. She is a cross breed, farm cat x something! She was my baby. Very unsocial cat who liked her space and was outside all day only to come in for food and warmth! I was the only one who could hold her and she always stayed well away when 'new' people were in the house. She got unwell a week or so before I went back to Uni and although I had a gut instinct she wasn't well, we put off taking her to the vets and I feel so bad I didn't go by my instinct. She passed away a week later. I miss her so much :(

This is my boy Miley. He is now 5 but we rescued him when he was roughly 12 weeks. He was found wandering the streets with cat flu, presumably his original owners didn't want the vets expense so chucked him out 😠 he is still rather timid but very photogenic and lives catching mice and rabbits!

This is Gem who will be 8 this year. She was rescued from the CPL at 2 years old. She had been left on a caravan site but is the loudest and most talkative and spoiled cat i know :p

Some gorgeous cats!
I've just got the one, and she will probably be my last as I have a greyhound now and he's good with her but faster/younger cats he does chase :(
Meet Tinkerbelle .. Well known as the killer cat and I spent most of my childhood walking round with scratches up my arm from her  she's a lot better now but still occasionally tries to bite a chunk out of my hand. Puts my huge dog in his place but has never gone further than the garden, she's 12 this month and is skinny/going bald from previous very bad flea allergy and I dread the day we are going to loose her because she's been in my life since I was 6 :(

She also head dives into your food drinks if you don't share it with her, she begs as well :p

My Pussy Cats are my Babies! I have three....

Ratty (AKA Baby Cat), Wonkey (AKA Cube) and Naughty (Baby)

Ratty is a complete bull dog of a puss cat and he fights lions on a regular basis. He lives at the stables and is confused as to being a horse/dog/cat.... He has lost the tip of his tail and a handful of teeth due to his antics. He is a complete Mummy's boy and climbs up my legs every morning for a cuddle whilst I am mucking out. He can jump up into the eaves of my stables with a rabbit and is a fierce hunting. He goes on 'camping' trips which lead to me being in turmoil as to his whereabouts - has been up to a month. I really do love him and he pines when I am away. I am sure not as much as I pine when he's away! He's sitting on my big horse in my Avatar pic. He went missing one day and I found him here

I then have Naughty who lives at the house. He is a complete BRAT. I am his b1tch.... He attacks me on a regular basis and has a fetish for the tops of my feet when I get out of the bath. He mieows and I run to him.... He is another one who is trained to sit!! He sleeps on my bed every night. Even though he has a cat flap and a window he yowls outside of my bedroom window and muggins here jumps up and lets him in through the door! He is an amazing hunter and brings me back squirrels, moorhens and an array of other things. Baby only does running water!!

I don't seem to have any photo's of Wonkey on Photobucket but I think there is one of her on my album if you click my user name on here. She was abandoned at my stables at 4-6 weeks old. She has a twisted spine hence looks pregnant from one side. She also has three curves of her spine through her tail. She is fantastic at hunting moss and leaves....

You can now all call me the 'Mad Cat Lady' but I promise you I am not loopy. Sorry for the photo overload :)

I feel alot less like a cat lady after seeing some of your collections!!!
