Does anyone have a czech warmblood ? I've recently bought myself a lovely rising 3 yr old czech warmblood hes well put together very straight obviously a lot of growing to do - I really want him for showjumping - he cleared several 5 bar gates as a yearling from a trot  and then again as a 2 year old - glad to say he has grown out of this phase but hoping hes retained the jump lol anyway i wondered what your boys or girls look like and what are their personalities like - i know no horse of any breed is ever the same but just for a bit of fun really to see that my gangly polar bear may actually grow into a proper horse - pics would be great :)

Ahh, pretty colour.

Don't worry about how he looks, my three year old is similar atm, very fluffy, not much neck, and down in front. They'll look nice when they're muscled and with summer coats ;0)

wow just realised their supersize!!! lol the colour is great at the moment it detracts from everyone looking at his massive head and donkey ears and the fact his bum is about a foot higher that his withers lol he was measured yesterday at 16.2 and 1/2 lol going to be a big chap i hope he grows into his head and looks ok like you say - roll on summer

His neck would probably look much better without the crazy wavy thing he's got going on (sorry!) pmsl!!

Ha ha dont' apologise it wasn't me that did it but it is annoying me this was the day i got him just gave him a quick brush off and took a few pics lol his mane will be attacked into a more appropriate shape shortly ha ha!

nice to see you have the same problem as me in that the saddle looks tiny!!! lol. he seems very calm on the lunge!

oh he is calm - dead in fact sometimes ha ha he'll do everything asked but no more - i took him out for the first time and a chinook (sp?) flew over the arena right over our heads literally i could see the pilot and he didn't move a muscle - just when i breathed a sigh of relief, pheasant flies out of hedge tangling itself in the blackthorn hedge, i jump as the stupid thing gets free and hes stood there looking at me  whos training who??? ha ha

babies have a habit of doing that! mine is fine with low flying things, kids running around etc and im hanging on worried about him but he doesnt move a muscle. Then a blade of grass blows and he leaps into my arms!

when i started lungeing prince used to be the same. it took so much effort to get him to move! now I have a lunge whip with me but he goes and stops and through his paces on command, almost completely :)
