please as title

my horse is so so messy I have to do something as he drags it everywhere with his foot, he would get his foot stuck in a haynet if not hung mega high
and I like to feed lower or off the floor preferably
So also just checking they are safe

Just an Idea I have a old post office sorting box (3ft by 6ft) as a water trough in one of the paddocks suppose it could work as a hay bar in a big stable????? I just asked at the local sorting office for one.

I don't know whether this helps at all,but I bought a tub trug today, the one with rope handles on the side. I am using it to put soaked hay in,in her stable. I use haynets on all he others, but this particular mare has an 'upside down' neck and benefits from stretching down.

It cost me £14.95 from my local feed merchants.

Not so much a hay bar as a hay box, but does the job :D
