With the summer seasons just kicking off, people will be venturing far and wide, up and down the country and beside the horse, in most of those lorries (and trailers!) is a much smaller four legged friend, affectionately known as a 'lorry dog'!

So show me yours, who; keeps you company on those long motorway miles, makes sure you walk the right XC course and acts as a hot water bottle after a long wet day?

This is my little rescue dog Daisy who is a year old and has been with us for just short of 6 months. She's very scared of life out side of the house, but little by little is getting braver and is now happy playing around the yard and running at the park with our other dog. She is the perfect lorry dog because she never wants to get out! :D If she's got her bed, she's more than happy to sleep the day away!

^^Our other dog Finn, who's a little big and energetic to be a regular lorry dog companion!

Her best friend is our rescue cat Buddy!

So show me yours!

Your dog is sooo cute.....

This is ours, but she's a bit big for knees so travels in her crate in the living. Previous JRTs were on my knee...

George... Occasional lorry dog. He has epilepsy and can sometimes get stressed at shows when there are lots of horses/dogs around but he comes with me from time to time.

Daisy. Retired lorry dog. She will be 18 in the summer and prefers to stay at home snoozing these days.

Alice. Permanent lorry dog. If I go somewhere she goes too.
