Show me your Spangles!

I don't have a spangle (just to check BTW am I right in thinking that's just another name for springers and also their cross breeds??),but like most gundog types and have really enjoyed looking at all the pics.

Springers are particularly cute puppies, and the ones on this thread are no exception!!

On here Spangle is just a shorthand for any spaniel or spaniel X or spaniel type:) some may use it as a term of abuse:eek::eek: but that usually 'cos they don't have a spangle love of their own and are jealous!:D:D

Even CAYLA has given in and got herself a spangle now........;):D:D:D

Spangles on here seem to be springers and cockers. I think there are more springers than cockers. I'm slightly obsessed by them. :o

This is not the kind of thread anyone needs who is trying to persuade themselves that they can't have a dog...particularly when lusting after a spangle! Lovely pics :) Spaniels seem to be so popular round here, everywhere I go I see them.

Thanks to both of you for the definition,I had an idea but wasn't quite sure:o

Thay are all lovely whatever they are defined as!!

Miss Pixel :D

She's a blue roan cocker spaniel (don't want to be out springered do we ;) hehe!)
She is a very special girl, almost completely blind but can still hold her own in the bouncy, happy spangle world!!! Hehe!

Sorry there are so many, I just can't help myself! :D

Cath&Vinnie - Yogi is absolutely amazing! I love him, what an interesting cross

Lovely pics everyone, some very artistic ones in there too :)

Teal, my baby. And total mummys boy.

Springer x lab

Basically a springer stuck in a labradors body.

Found out he does an excellent retrieve but his ears fail to work when beating ;) Sounds like a spangle to me (luckily it was a informal famers friends shoot). He loves going into water but doesnt really like swimming.

He is an amazing, loving, loyal family pet and fabulous working dog to boot. Everyone comments on how well he works, we are always placed at the front with the guns ;)

If anyone is interested in stud fees..... LOL - only joking :p

Lovely dogs all of them but the one who really caught my eye wasnt a dog it was Ravenwoods cat, what a beauty.

Awww thanks. Dear old Starry is a very interbred (to ferral family), epileptic, one eyed (her eye burst during a fit - ewww :o) old cat. The kids found the litter in the hay barn, tamed them so they could find homes and we ended up with the runt  She's probably cost me more than all the dogs put together with vet fees!

A pain in the butt but very much loved..

Would never have another cat though!
