Show me your tack.

Well, I just had to have some matchy matchy so now I have red stirrups and am getting some red reins and a red hat cover. :)

Matchy matchy gets us all in the end :biggrin3: To be fair after your high viz post I went out and bought loads more for the carriage. I'd been meaning to do it for ages and just not gotten round to it and it gave me kick up the bum.

Well, you have contributed quite a lot to my hi viz collection :biggrin3:

My tack is normally fairly simple - though I have been known to enjoy a bit of matchy lol:

For inhand work:

For ridden work I use an event saddle, thin pad, and generally a pair of ears help her concentrate a bit:

Normally Blitz is very similar:

But at the moment he is sporting some dead sheep while he regains some lost muscle; and the brushing boots are a new addition, as he is a bit lazy with his legs in lateral work, and has been bashing himself

May I ask what the thing that's attached to your horses but and hangs down their chest is in your 2nd picture BM? Looks like one of the leather things I've seen on the yard but couldn't possibly name :D

it’s just the girth strap on Beau’s breastplate - the angle is making it look a bit funny ;)

from a slightly different angle:

Bridle gets changed every so often. Micklem was in use solely for a while, then we discovered he's quite happy in his cavesson for flat. Micklem is usually better for jumping, but I'm too lazy to switch bit over/back each time so he's in the cavesson at the moment. Saddle is GP, girth is curved, non-elasticated, our saddler's design. Boots for fast/exciting work. Grumpy expression when he thinks he's being made do too much. Bum warmer when it's cold/damp and he's freshly clipped.
