Thanks guys its great to see all these gorgeous welshies doing so well! I am a TB lover through and through but decided to go back to my childhood and buy a welsh D filly to bring on (for myself i'm simply rubbish at selling horses!) and have as a companion for my ex racer who i hate to say is getting on a bit now! Anyways she is rising 4 now and i backed her last year! I couldn't be happier with her and look forward to a great fun future! Only problem is people keep telling me that i'm going to get bored with her and want another tb! grrrrr

Anyways enough gabbing hears my 3/4 welsh D Tegan...

Sorry got a bit carried away!

I have always had a welshie, I had a section C when I was about 12 and I now have a 15 hand bay welsh D gelding which my mum bred so I have had him all his life and he is now 14.... Welshies are noble, reliable, spirited, lazy, fast, pull like a train, kind, funny, soft, steadfast..... all of these things as we have had many welshies pass through our hands over the years, we currently still have 9 various tyes to old brood mares to last years foal. I wouldn't have anything else.... I would hate one of those ironing board type horses that you can't keep any weight on....

The day this picture taken was one of the proudest of my life, he went on to be placed 4th at Bucks County Show in the afternoon, I nearly cried.....
