never thought i'd ask for help on this one, but I am utterly stuck, it seems I can only come up with good names for other people's horses... and I need distracting.
my homebred Daisy is about to start going out in public, and has no posh name on her passport. she's by Fleetwater Opposition, so I guess Opposition ________ or, ________ Opposition would be a good start. dam was ______ (stud name) Rosie.
I've thought of Dazed Opposition but it's a bit too... presumptious? considering she absolutely can't see the point of flatwork at the moment, I doubt the opposition is going to be dazed at all...

Also considering Opposition Daisele (means "permission to launch" in some bizarre language in a Manga book I read once!) which is very apt since this is the one who launched me so disastrously... not sure I can face explaining it all the time though.
she's a feisty opinionated butty little madam, Daisy doesn't suit her at all, so nothing sweet!
Hopeful Opposition? That's a bit... nothing, isn't it?
I love clever names, e.g. The Norfolk Broad (event mare by Broadsword, a few years back) really loved that name. Needs to make it clear that she's a mare too, ideally.
It needs to be very easy to pronounce, at a glance, because commentators get so flummoxed by my surname that if the horse's name is tricky they tend to have a meltdown. One particularly memorable one was "Al The Chemist" (for The Alchemist) which I could barely believe!
all suggestions, other than 'just call her Daisy fgs' gratefully received.
Aero bubbles and tea on offer, because that's my lunch. still trying to overdose on chocolate to cure my misery.
