i have a bay thoroughbred gelding called louis, he has a complicated history but has turned out to be a very sweet boy. he is around 16hh and has one white foot, star and snip.
he has real character and i now need to give him a short and snappy name to go with him!

Actually that's not very short or snappy is it? But I like it and it's the 1st thing that came to mind for a horse called Louis - brought to mind the French revolution you see............

Versailles is a bit shorter and snappier......?

Lou (part of his name) bay (colour) Say it as loubie? Maybe..?
And Étoile is french for star I think.
