I've just been thinking of all the horses we have had in the past, and trying to remember their shownames....

Rollright Erin
Longdon Eastertide (LOVED this one)
Coombehill Raffles
Boucle D'or (think this is the worst!)
Just Mickey
Miss Ellie

.....and im ashamed to admit there are at least 5 I cannot remember!!!!! is there anybody else who cant remember their own horses' names!?!?!?

i can remember all the horses names, past and present on the yard of my SJ trainer.....but, it seems, just not my own!

my first horse, a mare, was already called Gay Harmony.

her foal, by Criminal Law, i called Jailhouse Rock, which i thought was quite clever.

i had one i called The Alchemist (by Goldfella, out of Feet First), and commentators sometimes read that out as Al The Chemist.

LOL!!!! poor u!!!! that reminds me of my friend's old gelding....his name was Sid, but it was actually spelt Cid (as in El Cid).....but at a one day event, the commentators read it out as C.I.D!!!!! needless to say, she spelt it with an 'S' from that day forward!
 
First one was registered and had a posh name - Cosford Blue Moon, after that there was a long list of Jacks and other fairly common stable names until about 4 years ago when i got back into registered ponies

My old Racer was Thor Power, something to do with a greek god of lightening. Just continued to compete him on his race name.
A grey called Jerry, but can't remember his show name!

And my Welsh pony called Tricky Ricky! thought it was cool as a Kid!!

Mine came with Pocohontas which I changed to the great escape as she gets out of EVERY stable I put her in
My friends mare is stage time and we called her son ( and pokeys half brother) Encore to continue the show type theme.

dont think my ponies wen i was a kid had show names just stable ones - one was called Squirt i always felt like a rite idiot at shows on her lol!!
 
My fav name at the moment is a friends bay Shetland called.......Gary!! It sounds so funny, her calling out 'Gary, Gary come here'
I think her hubby is having serious issues in regards to his place in the pecking order of her affections!

We started with "The Blues", and seem to have continued the theme, apart from the little fella who has the grandest name and is only 6 months old

My friends horse is called Kinoe (pronounced Kin-o-way) but is often pronounced Kin-oo-ee!!
