I am just being nosey

So post your pics, along with their details, whether they are working or relaxing

Cindy, 18month old yellow lab. Many FTWs, IntFTCh etc in her lines
smile.gif
Currently in her first seaon and doing very well (rough shooting)

And everyone knows my baby, Tina
laugh.gif
She's now 10 years old and partially retired. Still allowed to do local work, but doesn't go to ROI anymore. Very experienced dog, regardless of her one eye
smile.gif
Of unknown breeding.

Even though he is now dead, I have to put in Windsor
smile.gif
A beautiful boy but a real stubborn git at times! Cracking working dog, got quite a few offers of ridiculous money for him, but never would part with him
smile.gif
He was PTS last January at the age of 12. He was a well bred dog and was used for stud

Midge - My parents first proper working gundog. Well bred, old fashioned Springer. He was the best dog ever, stubborn and a mouth like a steel trap, but would bash brambles with the best of them, work all day and never had a nasty moment in his life. PTS just after his 11 birthday due to a tumour on the spine.

Dubh - My Mum's first Working Cocker and the start of an addiction! He is fantastically bred, my Mum had ridiculous offers for him when he was younger, at times she regretted refusing them. If he had come later on would have been an amazing field test dog, but too clever for words!
grin.gif

dhu2_small.jpg

Jek - Originally bought for my Mum, but destined for my Dad. A right wussy git who worships the ground Dad walks on, and gives my Dad more moments of pride than all us kids ever did
grin.gif

jek3_small.jpg

Pye - Dubh's son, a bit of a weird throwback, tall and leggy, built for speed. Was working well until he broke both elbows
frown.gif
He is still alive and kicking and zooming around, but is limited as to what he can do.
Pye2_small.jpg

Rury - My Mum's third cocker! My absolute favourite dog (after Midge) he was born trained! Steady as a rock, soft as grease, just absolutely fab!
grin.gif
He follows me everywhere when I am home, and one day my dastardly plan to steal him will work!
grin.gif

Tag - My Dad's second cocker (they travelled up to Aberdeen and back in a day for this one!!) My Dad says he is built out of pipecleaners and bits of belly button fluff!
grin.gif
He is in his first season beating this year, and learning well from his Uncle Jek!
grin.gif
His nickname is the Flying Ferret!
grin.gif

taghan4.jpg

Ghillie - The odd one out! He is my Mum's one and only Irish Water Spaniel, has taken a long time to mature and is starting to learn the ropes out working this year. Stubborn as hell, but proving to be a fab dog, he even went to Crufts this year

And finally...

Otto!! The unruly Springer pup!
grin.gif
Knows how to sit and that's about it! But we WILL get there, and when we do he is going to be amazing!

Blimely! That was an essay

But you did ask

What fab dogs you all have. I think you have probably all seen pics of mine already - but never miss a chance!!!

I only have two working dogs now and unfortunately no photos of the others on my computer.

Ravenwood (yes - my names sake!) (Toby to us) lots of Drakeshead, Birdbrook and of course Pocklea Remus

So easy to train, 100% loyal and loving and works for my daughter beautifully too. We have been asked numerous times to use him as a stud but unfortunately he has OCD in both elbows, so he has been "done" .....

(well if there are no birds to carry, must have something - this snowball will do!)

Flynn - my first ever spaniel and he has completely converted me - its spaniels all the way for me now! Gamekeeper bred, no papers but his sire has Badgercourt lines. He is my one in a million dog - the most amazing, tireless worker ever, so very biddable. Looks a bit odd though!! - has Queen Anne legs, long in the back, white all over with a black head - but my best dog ever!

And together they make an awsome picking up team!

RW - Spaniel and a lab - can't beat that sort of teamwork for picking!!

Did I hear Quails name!!

Stunning dogs everyone! Really love the deep foxred, would be my other choice after black! But also loving everyone elses! Also I would like a Bracco though not as easy to hide if done something wrong on a shoot as too a black lab! Least now I can collar any black lab & pretend mine is not in the wrong (not that she ever would be)!

OK then if you insist!!
