im doing my first show on my new horse on sun im doing ex racehorse and the veteran class, his schooling isnt the best so how do i make him look a bit more perky / showy in the ring Also any turn out tips??

I'd just aim to have him behave nicely and be well mannered in the ring - if it's a little show that may go a long way towards a good placing(!) and if it's a big show you can't really fake good schooling so you may as well use it as a fun, learning experience and just relax and enjoy yourselves
