My 16.1hh mare is a lovely girl, great personality, super paces + cracking jump.
She's a pink papered westfalian called:
St Tropez(Trakehner) /Fittipaldi (Westfalian)

This is her:

Pics don't do justice.

Any recommendations for a pony/hack stallion to breed a showing colt from her?

Thanks!

I assume you want to breed a hack from her rather than a riding horse?
I assume a hack as you want to bring the height down?

My boss breeds HOYS standard hacks and riding horses and the stallions she has used just to give you an idea (cant really judge your mare's hind leg in that photo) include Kilvington Scoundrel, Colbeach Night Light, Java Tiger, and we are looking at Jerome Harforth's 14.2hh chestnut this year (think he's Willowcroft Regal Bronze but having a blank moment)
However she is going down the route of adding more movement to her breeding stock so her HOYS hack champion is in foal to a Trakehner (Latimer) this year and she has a pure bred Trakehner 3yo filly who will be bred from in time.

Ideally give a list of your mare's weak points and what you are aiming to breed and that will help give a list of suitable stallions more easily.

Because she's high-withered, she looks much smaller than her nominal height and looks about 15.2hh...

She's a little short in the back and long in the neck but looks lovely in action and will probably look better when she puts on condition/topline (recently imported from Germany).

She dishes ever so slightly when she's slowing between paces/ambling around rather than working actively but points her toes and moves as if she were bouncing off clouds.

She's very fine and of Thoroughbred type with a super personality and she has so much presence so everyone stops and says "oh isn't she pretty" and she's incredibly attention-seeking and poses...

What about Salvador AP - was reserve champion at Sports Pony Grading in 2006 - has warmblood breeding on 1 side to give fantastic movement and Oakley Bubbling On as grand sire on dam's side.

He stands at 14hhs.

I had a full sister to him for a while.... mad as a snake, but very sweet at times.... not got brilliant movement tho'

Aimbury Chester has nice paces and movement, but may be too big...

That interesting that you have a full sister to Salvador AP that was "mad as a snake, but sweet at times".

Having seen this stallion a lot last year I have found him to be very sensible despite being young, he is very pleasant in the stable and out. His movement is also very good - although his jumping is green as he is owned by some people who are dressage orientated.

what about kilvington scoundrel[very expensive], or comberton cadet [great bloodlines]. both are good.

What about Trenawin Lanikai, an SPSS graded stallion who is already producing winners in hack breeding classes?

He will be at the stallion parade at Moulton on Easter Monday.
