I've finally gotten around to loading the pics from last weekends show on my computer, so I thought I might as well share them with you lovely bunch

I rode Elementary (only one test) and came 2nd (yaaay!) but only scored 52% (not so yay). Judge was adamant that I deserved only 6s and 4s (haven't scored 4s for movements that I thought was well executed in quite a while ). Oh well, proud of ponio anyway .

Comment at the end of the test was "horse was tense today" and nothing more than that, I would've appreciated a reason for scoring so badly - but judges decision is final...

Anyway, here are the piccies (ignore my horrible seat )

I wouldn't take the judges scores to heart too much, just focus on working on the areas that you know need improvement and hopefully the judge will be in a better mood next time!

Winter?! My god, it looks sunnier and warmer than our "summer" and his winter coat resembles most our our nags summer coats lol.

Hahaha. It was quite hot that day as well (which is why he's a sweaty ponio. lol) - I think the maximum was 25 degrees Celsius? Thanx for all the lovely comments guys - very chuffed with ponio

Maybe not. Haha. I think most of us here would be happy with a little more winter xD - nothing worse than having to turn on the aircon in the middle of winter
