Well I took Cate to a charity show, and to be honest it was one of those 'just not ment to be' events. Earlier in the week the weather gave out heavy rain, then my hacking partner lied through her teeth to me so she didnt feel she had to come. But i thought Sod it im going. and thanks to my friend and her cob we still had a friend to hack with.

We got all ready to go and i jumped on and prepared for my 4 mile ride to the venue.

We started the hack (Cate planted on the spot when she saw her new friend up the road, apparently horses come in 'cow print' nowerdays!) hacked all the way to the show, I had been told my class would commence at 12:30PM. We arrived at the showground at 11:45 to be informed that they were on the inhand championship and I had missed my class. I couldnt wait till the ridden classes as it wasnt fair on her! so We had a little ride in the school there for a change,

It was pay on the day. I thought it was a bit naughty to be running an hour early.. and easpecially after I hacked that far. But never mind. I enjoyed the preperation. Going to enter a dressage there now in a month or so's time. she how that goes!
