well went to the Tonbridge Lions Annual show and all didnt start to plan lol...I must have slept through my alarm so ended up waking up an hour & Half late...no time to plait tail or smarten up and it was literally grab horse and go...bless her..
Managed to get to showground just as my first class; working hunter, was starting...I was able to tack up and join the group as they started with jumping first!!! Have to say there were some lovely horses there, but as the weather was sooo crap lots were stopping at Jump 1, right by the hedge line...although we didint look as smart as them today, Star went in, only 2mins of warm up before, and jump one of the only clears
so really pleased. Then went in for the line up and judging...usual trotting around etc, and eventually pulled in 4th. Woo hoo, not bad I think for first propor WH and not looking as good as we could...
So then onto the 2.9ft jumping - Star done a fab round and straight into jump of, zooming round and managed to get clear and into first place
well that was until a teeny pony wizzed round clear and beat our time, damn hehe. So came a respectible 2nd out of about 25/30?? Rossette and Shield woo...
Next class was supposed to be Riding Horse but I missed it lol...so as i'd already paid for class they let me pick a new one. So back to jumping for the 3ft class...7th in and had another wicked round and clear!! Although she managed to pull a shoe near the end, but bless her heart she carried on (I didn't know until they said at the end
Sooo ended up 4th out of 27 so again very pleased
Star was on top form today and shall post some pics once they have been uploaded...Oh my Superdog also won some rosettes - 2nd in 'dog vs Sausage', 5th in Fancy dress (a little kid borrowed him lol) and 3rd in 'best biscuit catcher'...he's soo cute bless him...
well thats it for now, thanks for reading and piccies soon
