Well set of finally to the rescheduled RC Show which was rained off 2 weeks ago - (he was on box rest at the time - !!!! )on Sat past and was trying our first time ever jumping a course and first time jumping away from home.
Was entered for Novice Workers and was too busy keeping an eye on the class before mines that I missed the ridden hunter class!!! Daft mum...........
Anyway a bit of a green round in the workers but clear and jumped well despite mum losing her stirrup over jump 1!! So out of 11 forward 5 went clear, then we done the usual strip and judge rode, he went super - so pleased. Had to run up past spooky stuffed animals! Gave judge a nice ride.
Went back out and was pulled in 1st!!!! OMG so super pleased. How awesome. So had to go forward at end of day to workers championships....
Then done ridden coloured class and again a strong field of 12. Went beautiful for both judge and myself again. Pulled in first again!!!!!!!!!!
yet again another championship to go for.
So end of day did not get placed in overall working championships but did come away with the supreme overall ridden champion of the day - could not speak or stop grinning.
Had pondered in weeks before hand about using a pelham but he did not go well, he goes so light in his own snaffle so left him in that.
