sorry for bad quality photo i'll upload more later when i find some

This is Teddy, he is an appaloosa (supposedly a black appaloosa with silver dilute gene roaning out! I put a photo of him on a website about colouring of horses and that was the most popular theory, although I dont really know, except that he is cute, and people often think he is a donkey from the back :-( )

This is my special boy at 6 months old. He is shown in my avatar (taken on Christmas Day)! He is a bay base coated snowcap American appaloosa (a patch of pink skin over the rump bearing white hair, note not grey) he could also be classed as a few spot. His snowcap extends up to his withers. Such a shame that the foal colouring disappeared. I have his son who is a true few spot, the only marking he has are a handful of chestnut spots here and there, and chestnut flash markings on his forelegs. The good news is that everyone else who has used his services has 'colourful' babies!

According to this forum, Jasper is a "buckskin tobiano"....

In this pic he looks a sort of biscuity-dun and white, but when clipped it's almost a steel grey! He's very unusual, never seen another one quite like him!

Just Jingle Bell Jasper, I am in LOVE with your horse!!! I love his feathers, how they, stick out <3

This is my boy, He's my first Pony and my boyfriend's Dad got him for me for xmas, he's a Piebald (duh) Cob :) 14'2

And here's me sat on him for the first time (No I'm not fat I'm wearing layers and a bodyprotector underneath that coat, was freezing!! and yes I know my stirrups were set a bit high haha)

My friend says there is a special name for his marking shape on the front, but doesn't know what it is, any ideas? I have googled and found nothing.

Hey, thanks! I'd had to clip his feathers, so they were growing back in this pic which is why they stick out! They've all grown now, he's a hairy-bear again :D

Pride and Dexter are the two on the left, they are by the same stallion, only Pride got the splodges and Dex didnt! Very similar facila markings though

Danny Dancing Dots who was bought in a moment of insanity at York Sales, on the basis of his spots and the fact a young girl took him through the ring in tears! :(

I have a dun tobiano (complete with dorsal stripe and zebra markings)

Also two, no three (forgot a baby) bay tobianos and three overos - one chestnut, one palomino and one silver bay (or liver chestnut with flaxen mane and tail whichever you prefer)
Not going to bore everyone with the photos yet again..everyone has seen them before.

This is my 4YO appy x, Phoenix, from the summer. He has a fab even blanket, but the darker spots only show in his summer coat: this time of year they have disappeared into the general hairyness!

And this is my Captain who I lost exactly a year ago:

My only advice is do not get too attached to a a particular saddle pad or blanket colour!

Genie gets blonde highlights in her leg hair in the winter
