She’d already lost about 50kg in the top photo taken about 6 months after I got her, second is a 12 months later with all traces of hairy hippo finally gone!

Was just looking at old photos and whilst it’s not cygnet to swan it is podgy to not so podgy.
this time last year

Also looking at these photos has shown how much her heels have improved (I think?). backs had only just come off in first photo. Fronts have only just come off in second photo.

This photo reminds me of horse books I read as a kid. I think it was a follow on from the Flicka book and a grey stallion, called Thunder? - he reminds me of the horse drawn in that book. All of the horses look gorgeous. I don’t have my own horses anymore but I love reading about yours and seeing all of the photos ?

My Friend Flicka - the loco mare who was on deaths door in a stream, the kid sat with it and got ill too then they fixed together?
