Hi there,

A bit of a newbie to the showing world, but am actually posting on behalf of my mil.

She has got a lovely Lipizzaner X TB, he is 19 months old - looking to show this summer possibly.. he is registered with the Lipizzaner society (as he is half and half)... Does his passport need to be overstamped for showing?

I keep seeing rules saying something along the lines of horses must be registered with the Sport horse society... can someone make this clearer to me?

Thank you!

Depends on who is running and organising the classes and which show you go to. Smaller local shows you probably dont need to worry. Sport horse and in hand hunter classes at County Shows can be affiliated to the SHB and you would then need to be overstamped and possibly a member. Best thing is to read the rules and terms on entry forms very carefully!
