Hi,

Just looking for some advice I have just bought a piebald cob who i am looking to do a bit if everything with but would also like to show him locally.

What colour tack would be better as I am having to buy everything for him from scratch! Picture of him is with old owner and she had him in black tack can this be used for cob classes?

Many thanks

For local level black is fine but if you eventually end up wanting to do a higher level its always brown, I personally always buy brown tack I just prefer it and it suits any colour horse.

He looks really lovely ?

If you are buying everything from scratch, I would buy brown tack, which is traditional and suitable for showing. The rider should wear tweed in cob classes. If you enter him in in-hand classes wear dark trousers to show off his white legs to advantage.
