I would LOVE to show the loan pony... He's a very beautiful Mouse dun Highland.

Thing is, I don't have transport. There're a few local shows I could hack to, though! Thing is, they're really more gymkhana like...

So, do SORCY/PC type shows have breed or type shows? He could also do lead reign, I think

I have a mouse dun highland too, complete with eel stripe along her back and zebra stripes on her legs. Good luck with the showing..I have found in mixed M&M classes the highlands are at a bit of a disadvantage, you go into the larger breeds class and complete with natives that are often taller and 'fill the eye' a bit more than highlands. However when you do well it really feels good

They often have at least a mixed m&m class, if you're lucky large and small and if you're very lucky welsh A&B, small excluding welsh, welsh C&D and large excluding welsh (well that's how they sometimes do it round here!).

I'm not sure what what its like near you but near me its mainly welsh so anything non-welsh goes down a storm!

Aw, she looks just like him!

He's a bit paler though, but has the stripe! And apparently zebby stripes in the summer

Only thing is, he has a VERY cresty neck, as he was entire until a five year old, and sired a few foals

Depends on the show, I find in Scotland highlands win quite often in M&M over welshies. If you have a well schooled highland you are on to a winner. Watching them at the Royal Highland Show is incredible
