Showing a Shetland, help!

A friend is taking her shetland to a show tomorrow and isn't sure how he should be turned out. For example how much can he be trimmed up etc.

We trim anything that sticks out their ears and their beard but that's about it!
If their tail's trailing along the ground we normally trim it so it just touches the ground but nothing else.

I show a sec A, all native types shouldnt really be trimmed apart from there tails, at work we show highlands a fells and all we do is there tails just so they are not on the floor. I would leave the rest alone.
