Want to show my shetland Rocky this year but I don't have a clue about showing so need to know anything and everything you guys can tell me?!
Also I know they have to be kept natural but can I tidy his beard, feathers etc?

HELP!
 
Thankyou! Helped alot - quite upset I cant trim his bush like feathers though!
Still a bit confused about type of bridal, guessing it is just plain ...
 
My boy has a bit of an attitude well "Small man syndrome" as we like to call it :)
So think he will need to have his bit in - if we ever take him a walk with the others horses on a hack it is with a bit - the wild beast that he is! Lol.

I show shetlands. :D
You can trim beards, outside of ears and tail (so it's just touching floor) - afraid you can't touch their fetlocks though!
Oh and I use a plain inhand bridle & snaffle. So you should be fine using a bit too :)
