showing a welsh D 2 yr old inhand......

What should a 2yr old welsh D be shown in halter wise? he will be gelded.

(for next spring)

Can he have a smart inhand bridle (without the stallion bit ) with a rubber snaffle, brass fittings and a chain lead rein or will he need a white webbing halter?

At local level either will be acceptable, so whatever you feel you have most control in!!

I personally prefer all males to be bitted. I would go with an in-hand bridle with small rubber bit, the heavyness of the leather will depend on his head side so you will need to play around with browbands, nosebands etc. until it looks good.
