Hi all can anyone give me any advice on showing my welsh section A. He is 3 and im planning on showing him next year. I think he is stunning but have no idea if he is showing standard so would love your views? What would you advise to get him tip top (i.e food coat etc) condition ready for next year? Thanks in advance x

i dont know what you did- key is right click on the picture you want, properties, copy image url then paste within [*IMG] [/*IMG] (obvs remove *) :)

whats his name (stable and proper)

He is lovely! Is he 3 in the pics, if so then he looks a little immature compared to some you will see in the ring. We have 3 county standard section A's and our 2 colts are still both a little immature, tbh I would prefer them to grow slowly rather than rush them. Our gelding took a county class despite being immature because he has such fantastic movement so it doesn't necessarily have to go against you, depends on the judges! We took him straight off the field to the show, he was bathed the night before, have a look at the winergy equilibrium feeds for condition and shine without cereals.

The 4 white feet will make him look more 'flashy' when he moves so is a good thing. What is his breeding?

Thanks for the tips! He is out of murphy's boy i dont really know much else about him Only had him 8 months brought him just for my little boy to hack and do gymkanas etc. But he has such good movement and holds his head and tail so nice i decided to show him. He had just turned 3 in those pictures he has filled out alot since then! x

Oh i see thank you for your help... his passport say's his sire murphys boy 71255, dam, and grand sire who also has a long number. So does that mean he is registered? if not how do i get him registered? if not ill just stick to local shows? x

Contact the WPCS and give them the reg numbers of his sire and dam. He might be ellagable for registration. It would be worth it if he was registered, not just for showing but for his future value. Good luck, do try to register him.
