Showing A Youngster

I want to take Buddy to some shows to get him use to it all i think it would be a great experience for him. I am completely new to the whole showing thing. Could someone please give me some ideas of where i could take (live in west mids) or what i could do with him...as i would like to enter him into some inhand show or something.

What About Alvechurch, think they do a show every month in the summer. Lapworth is in August.

I don't know what type of classes they have where you are but down here we have a local RC, that do in hand classes like
Youngstock To mature under/over 14.2hh

I think so . Am pretty sure they have website. www.alvechurchridingclub.co.uk . That should have scedule on it. Also if you could get to Rugby, their riding club does a couple of showing shows throughout the year. they have website too. Will keep thinking

Rugby riding club has a show on this weekend and have a couple of inhand classes but they are m&m and coloured

Rugby might be a bit too far to take him for his 1st show i think, i live more birmingham way. He is ok in a horse box now but he has only been doing short travels in it. Anyone know of anything a bit closer?

I also have a appaloosa filly which i am currently waiting for her to be weaned in sept...when i have her is her any special shows i could put her in for her breed?
