I intend on taking my young connie to a low key local show this weekend for an outing. I will definitely be entering the mountain and moorland and possibly working hunting and/or Showjumping.
His mane is pulled very short (at present it almost half stands up like a youngster!) for convenience and as he does many other disciplines at present.
Whilst I understand that technically m & m classes would expect not plaited manes, I wondered if I ought to plait considering the state of his mane. Turnout wise I feel he would look better, but how might a judge at this sort of show feel about the matter?
Any info would be great. Thanks.
