We have an old lead rein pony for my grand daughter and she wants to take him to a show on Sunday (we promised this at the beginning of summer but he looked quite thin coming out of winter so have delayed until now). He has cushings so a very wooly coat. His mane is also more fluff than hair. Any suggestions on how we can make him look respectable for the show? The only classes available to enter will be the lead rein and the veteran class. Don't expect to win any rosettes but need to try.

Thanks everyone. We bathed him today, now he looks all curly and I will be up early morning to do battle with the mane. My grand daughter said today "It doesn't matter if you don't get a rosette as long as you enjoy yourself". What a wise 6 year old!

Thanks everyone. Had a super day out. Amongst all the shiny ponies we managed two fifth rosettes. I think we got the AHHH vote for the fluffiest pony.

I use photobucket. You'll need to create an account, then upload your pics. Once uploaded, you have to get the link codes to copy, copy the IMG one. Copy into your post et voila! We'll see pic. :)
