Showing Andalusian (PRE) in hand

Can anyone help! Showing Andalusian (PRE) in hand only at a local show. They don’t know whether am supposed to plait or not and I have found conflicting opinions.
Where do I find out whether I am supposed to plait or not? We aren’t doing ridden classes this time just a junior handler, foreign breeds etc.
Does his mane go natural, plaited and if so what sort plait? How do you find this kind of thing out! Thanks in advance.

For in hand left natural unless he is a part bred. The GBPRE website also has handy guides for PRE showing.

I wouldn't plait a pure bred for a show what class are you doing?

Sorry just seen you did say which classes, I wouldn't plait him for foreign breed or junior handler, I have pure bred Arabs and sometimes do local shows and those classes and I wouldn't plait them, I wouldn't plait them for any show as they are not meant to be shown plaited.

Oh thanks that’s great. He isn’t part bred no. We kept getting a few saying plait but we were told natural so just getting some conflicting views but this is great thank you. Will leave natural.

For ridden classes they are often plaited in the traditional running plait which maybe where it is coming from.
