I would love to see some showing photos, especially any involving brown tweed. I need a new shirt and tie and I cant decide what colour combination to go with - my heart is saying cream shirt and brown tie, to feed my brown fetish, but my head is saying cream (or maybe v pale blue?) shirt with navy tie, to match my show hat.

Any pics of your ridden hunters and working hunters would be fab too.

:)

I wore the same outfit when i was showing a big show hunter but i don't have any pics of that sorry.
Hope this helps abit. Although i'm not in brown tweed. :o

Not a hunter (sorry!) but I have a brown tweed with brown velvet collar and matching brown showjumper 2000 hat (I too have a thing for brown) which I wear with a dark green tie and cream shirt. I now have a shirt that is closer in colour to my breeches and gloves which I think looks smarter. I also (for a bit of variety) have a sage green tweed with brown check running through it and also brown velvet collar to match the hat.

Last year i showed in my green tweed jacket light blue shirt and navy blue tie (as pic in sig.) Got placed second lots last year.
This year i have been showing in same jacket deep ivory shirt and red tie and so far this year Denny has won everytime out locally.
So i am thinking the red tie also puts red rosette on horsey.
Then again it could be that Denny in now five and looks less like a baby :O)
Good luck whatever you choose.

I haven't got a pic but if you are into brown I saw a lovely buttermily type colour shirt and burnt orange tie on a stanbd, think it was 'showing time'......
