Showing - belts?

Can you wear a belt in your breeches for showing? And if so is there a certain colour that is best i.e. black/brown

I dont think its a Faux Pas, as you wont be showing it off to the judge et al. Blk or Brn will be better then colored and not with a humongous Buckle

Brown!! I hate black in the show ring! even if you cant see the belt, I'd still use brown!

See my black one is an ariat and has a spur on it as the buckle! So maybe my brown would be better but all my tack is black as is my cane etc!

It seems to be brown, brown or brown for showing although if you haven't got a brown belt but you've got black I'd use that

Does it matter? who s going to see it? When it comes to showing though, leather is usually brown.
